HVAC Journeyman / Installer

S&S Sheetmetal, Inc is seeking an experienced HVAC Journeyman Installer with excellent
blueprint reading skills, can install all classes and types of ductwork and commercial grade
equipment. Must have a basic knowledge of controls, refrigerant piping, duct construction and
jobsite etiquette. Must adhere to all safety policies and procedures, strong problem-solving and
critical thinking skills, reliable, and have good communication skills with our team and
customers.

Must have a clean and current driver’s license or be able to meet our company’s insurance
guidelines.

Job Schedule/Benefits:
Schedule: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., with a half hour lunch, Full-time position Must be available and
reliable
Must pass UA and background check, due to working with the public and having access to residential
homes.
Physical Demands: Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
Pay will depend on years of experience, D.O.E 30.00-37.00, Journeyman Level. Weekly Pay
Monthly Phone Allowance Medical – Employee only policy.
Dental/Vision – Employee and family.
Employer sponsored – 30k Life Insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance.
Simple IRA Plan – Employer match 3%

HVAC Technician

HVAC Technician

We are looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team! You will be responsible for servicing and repairing both residential and commercial heating and air conditioning systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
  • Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests with limited On Call
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
  • Position compensation ranges from 28-40 per hour depending on experience. We are willing to train the right candidate.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in HVAC is perferred
  • Familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams
  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable through the company.
  • Drug test and background checks would be required for some of our projects.
